Saint Augustine Wedding Photographer Marries Up
I have worked in the wedding industry for 10 years, but it wasn't until my wedding this summer that I was able to be on the other side of the camera and experience my own celebration. It was so important to me to have a wedding that was 1)fun and 2) showing thanks to all the friends and family in our life. It was only through hiring some amazing vendors and trusting them to do what they do best that we were able to have the wedding we wanted.
Because of it’s central location and professional staff I have always recommended Casa Monica as the perfect getting ready location. Margo was able to relax and enjoy the experience of her hair and make-up without being too far from the action. Because it was a morning wedding, we felt a first look would allow for a portrait session in ideal conditions right there in front of the hotel, without the temperature being too hot.
The ceremony was held where Margo and I met at The Markland House on the Flagler College campus where our friend Bill Young from The Wedding Authority theweddingauthority.com had coordinated a very special ceremony for us that included a few surprises that we didn’t expect.
The day concluded with brunch Villa Blanca - The Whiteroom (upgrade to the Shrimp and Grits… just do it) where one of the first vendors I ever worked with Brian from Beachside Entertainment led a super fun dance party.
So I can’t say as there has been another day in my life where I have felt so loved and I know Margo feels the same. . Looking out at my bride and our families my partner along with our friends made our wedding day the best day of my life so far! Thank you so much to everyone who was a part of our day.
