Making Old Traditions New

As a planner in the wedding industry, Michelle has been a longtime friend to the Monarch Studio. She is always such a pleasure to work with. So we were so excited to hear she had gotten engaged to Ronnie, and we were equally honored when she asked us to capture their big day. And what a brilliant day it was! The beautiful ceremony held in the event room of One Ocean Resort followed by an awesome dance party inside One Ocean Resort’s grand ballroom. Their day had so many deep emotions running through it, and there were definitely moments that got everyone a little misty-eyed.

There were some beautiful Arab traditions incorporated into the day, including some lively chanting by the bride and groom's family to the couple, and the longest first dance we’ve ever photographed-- topping 30 minutes! We enjoyed working with such experienced wedding professionals-- the team at One Ocean and Shannon at Everleigh events made it a seamless and timeless day. We know Ronnie and Michelle will remember the magic of their wedding for the rest of their lives.
