Backyard Wedding - As Taylor and Chris planned for their wedding, Taylor said she always wanted to have a simple event under the backyard arbor (formally a swing set) that her grandparents built her years ago. The logistics to host a wedding in Taylor's childhood home's backyard were a bit overwhelming, so instead, they booked a nearby wedding venue. Then COVID hit, and plans had to change. As things went on, our easygoing couple took it all in stride, and Taylor ended up with her scaled-down backyard wedding in the end! Our bride and her mother, Tess, put the fantastic event together, and guests were in awe of the converted space. To add to the story, some friends volunteered to tend the bar, and the staff of Tess's workplace (Vicars Landing) catered the event. This wedding was perfect due to pieces falling into place just right, a unique blend of connections and caring friends and family.
